Cullera

Incredibly beautiful town of Cullera (Cullera) is the place where the mining power of the earth meets with the eternal movement of the sea, where the sun gives warmth and life, where is never cold.

The city of Cullera, located 40 km South from Valencia city, stretched along the water's edge for more than 6 miles, going inland and rising to low mountain slopes. It was then, to protect the local population from permanent devastating raids of pirates and nomadic conquerors, mountainside was built strong and impregnable fortress. Around her, cling onto ledges, began to build small houses of local fishermen and farmers. A small valley, surrounded by mountains, actively farmed and soon turned into a vast orange groves and vineyards. This was facilitated by the mild climate of these places.

Closed from sharp and cold continental winds by the mountain slopes of the city of Cullera, even in winter boasts Sunny and warm weather. And in summer, fresh sea breath, gives hot subtropical sun to raise the temperature above +30 degrees.

Unspoiled beaches, divided into separate bays mountain ridges that descend directly into the sea, lush tropical vegetation, which adorns the slopes, incredible atmosphere and the hospitality of local people are doomed small town on a real transformation. Along the sea stretched six-kilometer promenade, and beyond it, lined up high, shining in his splendour hotels and suites. Northern outskirts has turned into a center of water sports - where there is a huge water Park "Aquapolis". It's unbelievable the amount of different size and complexity of slides, saltwater pools, cafes and shopping areas. There will be fun for everyone, regardless of age.

But if we walk in Cullera, you can find the old town with narrow pedestrian streets, Arab architecture and bizarre monuments. While walking there, completely forget about modern high-rise buildings and noisy near the sea and the Golden sandy beach, generously studded with huge shells. It would seem that here plunge into the past of Spain — like illustrations for a textbook on Spanish history come alive before my eyes.

Cullera is very different to a typical Spanish town, it's kind of special, different. At first you may be confused about its excessive building, but here everyone will be able to find a cozy corner! People come here to relax many Spaniards from neighbouring towns, and tourists from different countries. Along the wide promenade leisurely stroll, retired couples — they hold hands and their eyes burn so much tenderness that involuntarily start to believe in eternal love.

Here's a exciting this beautiful Valencian coast.
